The objective of the scheme is to put in place a Grievance Redressal system by way of setting up a 24X7 Helpline to facilitate effective and timely relief to NriTdp migrants in distress.
Some of the NriTdp migrants employed in foreign countries work in precarious conditions and often have difficulties from long working hours, hostile environmental conditions, loneliness due to being away from homeland, unforeseen family emergencies, stringent requirements at work or harassment by employers, visa related problems and tough nature of the occupations etc.
An appropriate coordination/liaison frame work through a single window mechanism such as a 24X7 Helpline in TDP Central Party office – Mangalagiri which can listen to their grievances and represent with agencies concerned for redressal will greatly help the emigrants.
Hence NRI TDP has established a 24x7 Helpline in TDP Central party office -Mangalagiri as a single window grievance handling and counselling system for the needy migrants in distress.
The helpline will follow appropriate standards operating procedures (SOP) in addressing the grievances and will provide relief whenever feasible.
